The Story of Your Dream Camp

My name is Carina. I was working as a French and Spanish teacher in Germany. During my studies I always felt drawn to traveling abroad. In 2019–2020 I lived on La Réunion, a small island in the Indian Ocean — to me like paradise. There I discovered a life by the sea, surfing and yoga — and I realized what truly fulfills me.

Coming back to Germany I plunged into work, finished my studies, drank too much coffee and energy drinks, and forgot myself. I passed my second state exam with good results — but something was missing. I dreamed every night of living by the sea again, surfing, feeling the sun, and being free. But i didn't have the courage to change somehting.

After solo-trips to northern Spain and Tenerife, I realized what really makes me happy: living in a warm country, nature, surfing, yoga, and meeting people from all over the world. On Tenerife I met inspiring people who lived their own path — and that gave me the courage to follow mine.

At age 29 I left my safe job — without a plan, but with trust in life. Actually I wanted to go to Mexico, but the destiny led me to Morocco first. I immediately fell in love with the “slow life” here: the sea, the sun, the waves, the hospitality of the people, the colors, the smells and fresh food. For the first time in a long time I felt alive, free and happy.

Back in Morocco after a short stop in Germany, I found remote jobs that allowed me to live as a digital nomad — a freedom I had always dreamed of.

Here, in Tamraght, the vision for “Your Dream Camp” was born. I wanted to create a place where people from all over the world come together, leave their worries behind, and reconnect with themselves. A place to recharge through surfing, yoga, nature and connections — where one rediscovers joy and finds their dreams again.

My goal is to build a community where everyone is welcome, happy and free — a refuge that takes you out of everyday life, out of winter into sunshine, out of routine into a lively, colorful world.

Who is Your Dream Camp for?

Your Dream Camp is for anyone who loves real experiences, nature, movement and human connection. For people who want to escape everyday life, recharge, and rediscover themselves. For those who want to make new friends, be part of an open and inspiring community, and enrich themselves with the diversity of other cultures.

For travelers who want to experience the “real Morocco”. For open-minded people ready to feel the relaxed surfer-spirit and maybe learn a few words in Arabic, Tamazight (Berber), or French.

Whether you travel alone, as a couple, or in a group — there’s a place for everyone. The camp is for anyone curious, open to new experiences, seeking healing and joy, and brave enough to live consciously.

You don’t need any prior surf experience: whether you’ve never stood on a board or you’re already a surfer — you are welcome.

The goal is to create a place where everyone feels welcome and free — to leave old routines behind and rediscover the joy of living.

We celebrate simple living: surfing, yoga, shared meals, sunsets, laughter, honest conversations. You’ll become part of a small community that inspires you, opens your heart and reminds you that you can do anything when you follow your flow.

Your Dream Camp works with local Moroccan partners and small family-owned businesses to create real value — for travelers and locals alike.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I already need to know how to surf?

No! The camp is open to all levels — from absolute beginners to advanced surfers. Our coaches will teach you with patience and fun.

Where should I fly? Which airport is nearest?


The nearest airport is Agadir (around 45 minutes away from Tamraght). We can organise a transfer for you — just tell us your arrival time.

If it suits you better, you can also fly to Marrakesh — from there there are hourly buses (around €10) to Agadir (≈ 3h ride). I’m happy to help with the flight search and booking.

Is it safe to travel to Morocco?


Yes — Morocco is a very safe travel destination. Especially the region around Tamraght is known for its relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. Locals are friendly and welcoming, and the area thrives on surf and yoga tourism. Many of our guests — even solo female travelers — feel safe walking around at night. You’ll feel welcome and free to explore the beach, cozy cafés or the little village.

Can I sign up alone?

Yes, definitely! Solo-travellers are more than welcome. Many guests come alone — and that’s part of the special vibe. You will quickly meet like-minded people — surfing, eating, chilling on the rooftop.

If you travel as a couple or group — that’s great too.

Is there enough free time?

Yes, absolutely! We don’t want strict schedules. The day-plan is a rough guideline. If you need “me time”, you’re free to design your day as you like — beach, cafés, restaurants are just 5 minutes away.

Is vegetarian or vegan food available?

Yes! We cook fresh daily with local ingredients. Vegetarian and vegan options are definitely available — just let us know in advance. We also accommodate special dietary needs.

 

Is there an age limit?

No. Everyone is welcome — whether you are 20 or 58. What matters is a good vibe. Most guests come because they love surfing, sunshine and community — and that connects all generations.

What about the weather?

Tamraght and the surrounding region enjoy a mild, sunny climate all year — perfect for surfing! Especially in February and March it’s pleasantly warm (about 23–25 °C daytime). Only evenings — because we’re right by the Atlantic — it can get cooler, so a sweater or long pants might be handy.

The waves are good from October to May.

Can I arrive earlier or leave later?

Of course, if flights on other days suit you better, you can arrive earlier. You can either stay at the Sable Beach House in Tamraght or the Sable Beach House in Taghazout. You can also leave later, of course.

Terms and Conditions – Your Dream Camp

1. Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of €100 of the total amount is due within 7 days of booking.
Bank details and payment instructions will be sent to you with your booking confirmation via email.
Please always include your full name and travel dates when making the transfer.
Payment for surf camp services is made directly to Sable Beach House in accordance with its terms and conditions and payment policies.

2. Personal Responsibility & Risk Notice
All activities offered by Your Dream Camp – including surfing, yoga, hiking, or excursions – are undertaken at your own risk.
We prioritize safety but accept no liability for injuries, accidents, losses, or damages that occur during your stay or any activity.
Please honestly assess your physical and mental condition before participating.
Participation under the influence of alcohol or drugs is prohibited and may result in exclusion without refund.

3. Travel Insurance
All participants must have valid travel insurance covering medical expenses, cancellations, and all booked activities (e.g., surfing, hiking, etc.).
Your Dream Camp is not liable for costs arising from a lack of insurance coverage.

4. Travel Documents & Visa
Ensure your passport is valid for at least six (6) months beyond your return date.
You are responsible for obtaining all necessary visas for your destination and any transit countries.

5. Cancellations & Refunds
The deposit is non-refundable.
No refunds are provided for early departure or no-shows.
If Your Dream Camp must cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.

6. Limitation of Liability
Your Dream Camp is not responsible for:

  • Injuries, damages, losses, costs, or delays resulting from natural events, extreme weather, accidents, war, strikes, governmental orders, or similar force majeure events.

  • Changes or cancellations by airlines, transport companies, accommodations, or third-party providers.

  • Personal circumstances such as medical restrictions, allergies, or unfulfilled special requests.

  • Actions of participants, e.g., ignoring safety instructions or risky behavior.

We cannot guarantee specific surf conditions, wave quality, or weather. These factors are beyond our control and do not entitle participants to refunds or compensation.

7. Use & Damage of Equipment
Please handle all materials provided (e.g., surfboards, wetsuits, yoga mats) with care.
You are personally and financially liable for any loss or damage to rented equipment.

8. Changes & Adjustments
Your Dream Camp reserves the right to:

  • Adjust or change programs, schedules, or services at any time if necessary.

  • Exclude participants from activities if safety risks exist or behavior is inappropriate – without entitlement to a refund.

9. Role of the Provider / Mediation Services
The provider, Carina Doliwa, acts solely as a mediator between the customer and Sable Beach House.
The provider is not responsible for the delivery of the surf camp services themselves.

10. Contractual Partner
The contract for participation in the surf camp is concluded solely between the customer and Sable Beach House.
The provider is not a contractual partner of these services.

11. Commission Model
The provider receives a commission for her mediation services.

12. Scope of Mediation Services
Mediation services include:

  • Forwarding information about the surf camps.

  • Assistance with booking inquiries.

Not included:

  • Conducting the surf camp or individual services.

  • Travel arrangements under §§ 651a ff. German Civil Code (BGB).

13. Liability for Mediated Services
The surf camp provider is solely responsible for the proper delivery of all surf camp services.
The provider is not liable for third-party services.

14. No Travel Operator
The provider only mediates surf camp services and does not offer any independent travel services.
No package tours within the meaning of §§ 651a ff. BGB are offered or compiled.

15. Acceptance of Terms
By booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
They supersede all previous agreements or communications.
